It's very hard finding yourself again after your entire life is modelled after your marriage especially in magic. I'm so happy you were able to hold onto the good and find your true self and happiness again Charlotte. You deserve all the happiness in the world ❤️
Here's me driving a Carman Gia, as I remember the name, through some sunny vale in Maine in '76. Whose car it was is lost to time. The memory has the same proportions of magic and partial plausibility as what is revealed to me just now glancing out the window in Niagara. Is that great thing in the driveway my father's Econoline van, left to me when he died? Or is that what it wants me to think? This morning he appeared, my father, in a dream all golden and fiftyish, and I asked him if he was real. The question gave him pause.
Geez, portals of perception.
A hare poo'd under the maple yesterday, it seems, and I pulled a rabbit out of my mind.
The magic has crept back to me along my gaze through the years, and it's me myself who becomes less plausible every day. The world could be anything now.
Isn’t it addictive once you plug into that stream that is magick… beyond that slight of hand, it’s that hand that grabs you like a high voltage shock. ⚡️⚡️🌟
Interesting the rabbit, in stage magic.. Where the hare figures most is in symbolic, archetype and the quantitive field magick as inter dimensional such as appears in Alice in wonderland. Some attempt to parson magick out in various forms of black and white… When in reality perceptions see neither in CoronaCrome. We who remain masters in shadow prefer those who know… Know. Nothing else matters.
Thank you so much for this blog. There are so many interesting facets of your life. As I read the blog I remembered many of the things you recount. The costume malfunction way back when (I've been a fan for a long time). You talk about humor in your magic act. I remember when Johnathan was doing a magic trick that involved having someone from the audience pick out a colored marble from a bag, hide it so no one can see what color it is, and only expose it when I ask you to. Well, after he said this the man in the audience said, "I'm color blind" Johnathan gave the audience a nod and they erupted in laughter. I didn't know that you knew Harry Anderson of Night Court, one of my favorite sit coms. He and Markie Post had chemistry. So thank you once again for creating this blog (I read it twice it was so good).
George Wow! Thank you so much for sharing your memories of our performance. It’s interesting to hear an audience member perspective.
Jonathan was always quick on stage with great recovery. A good skill to have - especially useful if you run into hecklers. Harry and Markie did indeed have great chemistry. I miss that show!
Again thank you very much for your support! People like you makes it exciting for me to want to write! 🤗
I love reading your blog, Char! It takes me back to some of the best times in my life. Every time we were together became a noteworthy adventure! And I would like to make note that you are, indeed, a fabulous chef! My mouth still waters thinking of your fried chicken! I look forward to reading more about your magical journey!🩷
Your comments warn my heart Karen! Thank you! Thank you so much! 🤗💖🙏
I just made some chicken the other day! I’m trying a semi keto died and my fried chicken is GO! So I’ve been making it!
I will definitely be including our outings with you and Nelson! I especially enjoyed picnics (bringing the fried chicken) at Malibu Beach! Those were good days!
Life is such a blessing when you have friend like you- to share time! Love to, Nelson and Mom 😘
The Huxleyan Warning: There are two ways by which the spirit of a culture may be shriveled. In the first—the Orwellian—culture becomes a Prison. The second—the Huxleyan—culture becomes a burlesque.
Huxley was trying to us what afflicted the people in the BRAVE NEW WORLD was not that they were laughing instead of thinking, but that they did not know what they were laughing about and why they had stopped thinking...
Oh My!!! You remember the date? Amazing Karen! 2 AM? I don’t think I’m awake after 10 o’clock in the evening 🌙 💤 these days! Lol! Boy it’s fun when you are young!
Thank you, Esoterik! I think that’s an excellent way to put it a right of passage. And you never do return to the way you were. Not for me, anyway. I had been married for 33 years.
Have a blessed day, and thank you for the brief history of Alice! 🤗✨💖
“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite.”

Thank you, excellent quote!

I think my ex-husband‘s father left him and Econoline van 🤔 Good vehicle to have on hand!

Great work indeed!
And all along I thought he was just trying to promote the use of psilocybin 🍄😂

I have looked it up a few times over the years because it was so traumatic to think why could have happened….
Fun stuff Charlotte! I went to the Magic Castle in L.A. a couple of times in the 90's. I was dating a magician.

Yes, I feel the same way. But once you find the light your life magically changes forever! Thank you for reading this, I know it’s long. 🤗
