This was so cool…. Clara and the slippery slide? I adored the Liberace video and consider that duet with Toto was truly inspired!

Oh how many of us loved Liberace

Over the years? This was remarkable music paired with the marionette.

Excuse me but I have to mention my two favorite performers for years.

Andre Rieu and his orchestra and colorful performers create memorable programs world wide.

And number two is the energetic Yanni who draws huge crowds of fans in countries around the world.

He has some of the most incredible

Singers and instrumentalists anywhere?

My new number 3 is a pianist who

Was here recently. …David Osborne. His concert exceeded my expectations by a mile!

Check him out???

My mother loved Liberace! Several of us flew to Las Vegas to tour his incredible museum . He had such a flair for dressing in glittering clothing that he knew fired up people’s imagination and enhanced his performances.

People like Cher, Dolly Parton, and

Carol Burnett understood the ways to do this also..

too many musicians these days just appear on stage in a shabby pair of “ holey” jeans and both men and women are easily forgotten?

When I go to a concert now , I dress up ….not down! I celebrate an event and respect the concert.

Ever wonder who buys those expensive runway outfits? Or wear

Glittered shoes? I never see them on people ! Do you? Even visitors to Vegas go in jeans now?

It’s a tragic loss of imagery. Self esteem? Pageantry?

People traffic is soggy at best.? Lol

I LOVE the Liberace Museum! I'm so happy one was built to honor his great legacy! I first visited LV in the late 70’s. I saw Siegfried and Roy in the Lido De Paris show at the Frontier. My husband and I dressed to the nines, and it was so special.

Then, a few years later, I started in several shows, and I loved the pre show atmosphere and how guests dressed so nice to see us perform. It made performances extra special.

Then the lati90’s arrived, and Vegas changed. Marketing efforts were directed at families to entice a new generation of Vegas goers who would reach adulthood in the 2010’s creating a whole new generation of Vegas lovers. As a result, all the class git sucked out of Vegas. 😩

Carol, thank you! I get tears in my eyes when I watch the video with Liberace. Tears which reflect so many different emotions in me. I’m so happy to have shared this one. And these are just rare glimpses of Shaw, whose performances took your breathe away. Same with Liberace! Have a beautiful magical day! Thank you again!
