Ah what youve come across there Charlotte is the work of a person or (persons?) unknown that have been altering magic illusion performance and TV facts on the internet for some years.

The wiki's particulary are littered by the fakery and either your discovery comes from these or the person also infiltrated IMDB. Usually the fakes put celebrities in performances and illusions they were never involved in. It is believed the person doing this comes from the UK and has been unwittingly allowed to be a moderator/admin in a lot of these databases and therefore is "trusted" with the facts so any challenge to put things right are rebuffed. Why this person does it? Well you can liken it to virus writers, so I guess the person just likes the power of creating fantasy performance facts which are often taken as truth from those that are unaware of the reality. Sometimes the fakes are mixed in with actual facts just to add confusion.

Take a look at this one example https://celebrity.fandom.com/wiki/Clearly_Impossible Scroll down to the accounts of celebrities that have apparently followed in your footsteps and been featured in the Clearly Impossible illusion. While one or two are true the majority are fantasy.

It would be nice to find a way to stop it ? Although in some ways is it doing much harm? unless the fakes do get taken as actual history in years to come or cause issues with the magic industry.

Thank you Ron! I love how Jonathan is given ALL the credit if it’s creation,Lol, forgetting that without my additional contribution this illusion would have seen the light of day. We both were important to its fruition. AI probably makes up half that junk! Lol! @Ron Mostrum

Yep.

Here is the first now infamous Fake that came to attention some years ago "The Holly Box"

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0902200/trivia/

Lots of us excitedly went searching for video evidence as it appeared to be an incredible new illusion! and with being from the UK myself the TV presenter in question would have been a sensational participant. But it was quickly dismissed a total fiction. Yet to this day after numerous attempts to have it taken down it still exists on the net and IMDB simply aren't interested in doing anything about it. This all comes from a time prior to AI, so yes now we have AI its taking these things and distorting them even more.

Fabulous, Charlotte! That tea cup illusion was very cool and I can’t believe the wrong info on IMDB. That’s pretty ridiculous.

There can only be one Queen of Magic, and what a pleasure to have her hear, casting her spell.

Another good history lesson on Vegas and LA behind the scenes. A good description of an artist, (including scientists) is they reveal what we can not see but a good description of for a magician artist is they conceal what we can see.

Anyone can add comments to IMDB they are not vetted. Sorry you have to go to all "paid" :-(

Wonderful Charlotte. Magic and illusion is fun. Watched your vanishing tea cup video. Hollywood and Vegas have much in common, both places where dreams are made, where people reach great heights. Sometimes they come true.🕊🦜🐦

Thank you Perry! So true, dreams are made in places like Hollywood for many talented actors seeking a public lifestyle. For me it was all about just doing it, and caring about fame. Sometimes Dreams can be disappointing when what you wanted out of the deal turns doesn’t come true for you. For instance I know a top performer who starred in his own shows in Las Vegas and wasn’t pleased. He was at the pinnacle of his career and he wanted more. He wanted his own movies and TV shows, and it never happened for him. He was unhappy and never satisfied. For me, I was always happy, and never thought about wanting to be hugely famous. There are many unhappy superstars.

Maybe because they thought being a superstar would solve their internal issues, and they certainly developed their talents to an exceptionally high degree. But they did so without developing their internal self, which has no extrinsic reward. But it has a large intrinsic one. This includes healing, which most of us require.

Yes, exactly, so well put. They hope a career being a star is the answer to internal happiness. They connect and bet their self-worth on being a star. And when they get there, they want more because they never addressed his to really feel a reward from merely enjoying the simple moments in life and getting to know themselves inside. I used to love working with Suzanne Somers because she was the real deal. Many of them are real, so I speak about only the few who never seemed happy.
