I grew up not far from where you and Randy are now living, in an orange grove near the Tule River that is no more. Although we are very happy living in Virginia, I truly miss the sweetness of Porterville that is always in my memories. It has changed dramatically from the little community of our youth. I was in a hurry to get away from what I felt was a claustrophobic place, but being young I couldn’t really understand the great value that it was. But of course, we can’t go back, and it really is gone for the most part, as are the ones that I loved who made it such a special place.
Thanks for sharing some of your story here Charlotte. I’m sure it is daunting to open up these things to the public.

Yes those sweet days in Porterville are just memories from our past. Memories I hold dear to my heart, The demographics in Porterville has changed so much it’s hardly recognizable.

I really like the Wabbit's Waltz! I played it while feeding my baby a bottle, and she immediately stopped drinking and just listened, and then she started kicking along with the music. I think she likes it, too!
