A fantastic interview, perfectly matching the interveiwer and and subject! Reindel's love of his subject and experiences in magic complement's Pendragon's skill in illusion and writing; each shares their gifts with each other - leaving the reader richer.💖

Wonderful collab and interview Charlotte and Brian! I bet we crossed paths off Kanan Rd. at the Renaissance Fair! I lived off Kanan for a few years! You also stirred memories of my firstborn when he was 7. In the summer, after dinner, he and his friend setup a table in our front driveway and the neighbors would gather for a magic show!! I love how you describe magic as having no audience boundaries. It's for everyone! My youngest son was Peter Pan in the Disneyland parade and he was most impacted by the children knowing he was infusing wonder and escape into their day! Peter was the only character who could be naughty and approach a guest with a cheeky smile or a hello. Thank you for this!! 👏🏻💫

Thank you Deborah! What a coincidence! Love it! Yes I remember Canaan Road very well. I visited that Renaissance fair and performed during the years of 1976 to 1978. My best friend lived up in Topanga Canyon and she love to go to the fair so throughout the 80s we went at least once a year until it was moved. Did you go in 76 and 78? I sure miss it! Thank you so much for your kind words and sending you much love and gratitude! Have a beautiful day!✨💖👍

Yes! I went in '78! It was the year, right after graduation that my parents moved to Agoura! I had nowhere to go at 17, so I went with them. I remember being sad to leave my friends but happy they would drive out to go to the fair just down the canyon! We crossed paths!! ✨

..and I appreciate you! Have a peaceful and magical weekend Charlotte! 😘

Fantastic interview. There are definitely many similarities between writing and magic - as in both cases you're presenting something creative that you've conceived in your mind, and asking your audience to believe in what you've shown them (or suspend disbelief), based on how well you have executed it. It's a fascinating topic... 😎

Thank you do much! Thank you for recognizing that aspect of magic and writing. I try to intersect the two and give my pieces a little bit of mystery and history. That rhymes lol! Sending you much love and gratitude! Have a magical day!💫💞💫

A wonderful collaboration, Charlotte! I'm happy you got a little technical knowledge out of it as well with embedding posts. 😉🔮

Thank you for your help learning how to do so! I ran into a little bit of a glitch last night when I was embedding a hyperlink to your name. I found I had to turn my phone sideways for the box to come down too add the URL and your name. 🙈

Thank you again, this was fun! 🤩 Blessings to you and have a magical day! 🪄✨✨✨💖✨

I enjoyed this, Charlotte. I really like getting to know writers through their work and interviews like this. I have minimal knowledge of magic so I am intrigued by your work!
