Silent Metamorphosis
When you are not your best , give yourself a break. Don’t feel guilty for things you can’t do, it’s OK to struggle. Rest, recover, be kind to yourself and know the bad time are temporary. By Unknown
Hey everyone,
I hope you're all doing well! I wanted to let you know I'm taking a break from my regular newsletter this week. I have some important business meetings in Los Angeles that require my full attention. But don't worry, I'll be back next week with my following stack. I'll include a little bit about what I've been doing, with a few photos.
Until then I wanted to write about how a few words from Jacqueline Rendell (who writes Post Post Modern) positively affected my heart this past week. We were chatting about metamorphosis and rebirth, and I realized trauma in my life caused me to withdraw into myself, into a safe place where I could put my anger and hurt to rest. In that quiet cocoon, I healed and emerged as a baby butterfly, ready to grow in my new self. Our talk inspired this poem. I want to leave you with a little something to ponder. I recently came across a beautiful poem by Jacqueline Rendell that spoke to me about the idea of transformation. Here is a short poem I wrote which describes that experience. I hope you do, too.
I appreciate your understanding and continued support. I'll catch up with you all soon next week!
Silent Metamorphosis
When the caterpillar sleeps in nighttime’s embrace, within their cocoon, a metamorphosis stirs, kindling transformation, and a rebirth rises up through the whispering wings of a butterfly
I’ve been experimenting with Bing AI Imaging. When creating a portrayal for my poem here are a few of the images generated from Bing Image Creator. Which ones do you like?
Have a beautiful weekend! 🤗Stay magical!
🪄✨✨💖✨
I like the second pic the best. Also, I liked the poem. Obviously it’s something in which I can relate pretty well - lol. Good luck in LA! 🤗
Happy to hear from you, Charlotte, and that good things appear to be happening - you deserve them! You do what you need to do - we'll be here when you get back!
Wonderful poem and pics, too - thanks for sharing them... ☺️
